This year I set goals....
1. I'm going to do 10 unassisted pullups.
2. I'm going to get body pump certified.
3. I'm going to learn all the names of Cassidee's cheer friends.
4. I'm going to be happy.
5. I'm going to dance in the rain instead of complain.

whoa
Hello world!
This is the latest news....
1. Cassidee thinks she needs a birthday party with 70 guests and one adult supervisor. Whaaaaaat?
2. People don't eat enough veggies. You need to eat more veggies and do it consistantly.
3. I'm so ready for summer, I ache.
4. I completely addicted to "Words With Friends". I can't stop playing.
5. I recently learned that a healthy person poops 2-4 times a day. Do you?

Hello?
Does anybody blog anymore? I guess Facebook has taken over.
My friend out here asked me why I haven't blogged for a while. I guess I was going to start to write about fitness tips but then my neighbor started a blog just for that so I thought that'd be really redundant. I guess I could use my blog as an outlet for me.
A lot of changes have taken place for me and for my little family. As many of you know, I haven't been able to find a teaching job out here like I wanted. It's kind of a punch in the face, to work so hard trying to get through school and then not being about to utilize what you've worked so hard for. I graduated with two kids and a mortgage payment. I didn't even get to party or date during college (my fault, I know and I'm NOT complaining. My girls are completely worth it.) Not to mention the money that was shelled out for that useless degree. I guess it wouldn't be so hard if I didn't love teaching so much. I looked forward to each and every single day. It's depressing.
Life goes on! Joseph and I have also decided to separate. I don't know what else to say other than that.

Time for a change
Some of you know I started a new job out here in Pleasanton because there isn't any teaching available for me. I'm thinking of switching my blog to a reference for my clients to be able to refer to for useful tips about staying in shape and eating healthy foods. Is that dumb? Would you read it if you were resistance training with me? I think I'd still put pictures up of my kids and stuff because I've found that a lot of moms think they don't have time to workout. I just want to inspire people so they know they can accomplish a healthy lifestyle. Input please!

Summer happenings
Something is seriously wrong with my computer...I can't blog properly...anyway...here are some pictures from the summer. We went to Utah and had a blast. Kim and I ran a 10 K in record time. All my girls had birthdays and they were fun. I ran my first half marathon. My favorite family in the world came to visit and we went to Santa Cruz. There you go :)
