Sicily is awesome

I really wanted to start Sicily potty training this spring break. I was really optimistic when she wanted to put on panties and even sat on the potty with her cookie. It was great. Five minutes later when we were sitting down for lunch, she goes, "Hurry Mommy! Get a diaper!" and had an accident all over the kitchen. Now....not so optimistic. We'll see what happens. :) This story cracked me up...We were sitting downstairs and the girls were just finishing up their Wii excursion for the evening. Joseph was yelling at them because we have four controllers and they're supposed to use the controllers that can be recharged. They, of course, were using the controllers that needed regular AA batteries. All of the sudden, Sicily got a really determined look on her face and started talking about batteries. She went to one of our drawers and pulled out a screwdriver. We were trying to tell her that it was a screwdriver and not batteries. But then it dawned on me....we have so many toys that you have to use a screwdriver TO GET TO THE BATTERIES. What a clever little girl! Here she is trying to get to the batteries in the controller. I LOVE SICILY!

Swimming...When is it Summer???

I so am in need for some warm weather. I took the girls swimming a few times just to remind me that it SHOULD be just around the corner. We usually go to the Bountiful pool all through winter, but our regular swim teacher canceled on us, so we've been kinda bummed about it. This is only our second time we've gone since December. Anyway, my dear sister-in-law brought her kids too. This is cute little Charli. I just LOVE her swimsuit. Cassidee likes to climb on the tubes and do backflips off. She is quite the acrobat!

My Kennedy is always posing. She goes, "Now let me do this. Now take a picture of me doing this. Now. OK, now!" She knows all the poses.

AAAAHHHHH. My Sicily. She brings me great joy!

Please spring! Come quickly!

St. George road trip!

I hate it when I put pictures up in the wrong order. But anyway.....Joseph has friends in LA that he is really close to. They met us in St. George last weekend. We got to stay in this beautiful house with the nicest family...Krista's family. She is married to Greg who grew up with Joe. Anyway, we were just hiking around when we were watching some people repel. My friend Jenn and I were really interested so the dad was like, "Let me go back and get my gear." I thought that was so nice! Anyway, I repelled for the very first time ever. A lot of people thought it was no big but for me....it was such an accomplishment. I'm not sure why but I was super excited that I did it. The cliff was like 80 feet high! This picture doesn't do it justice. I'm serious. Joe did it to. He was a pro.

This is Mike Sessions and his long time girl friend Sue. Joe has known Mike since they were 8. I just love Sue too. This is also one of the baby boys I'll never have, Zac.

Finally Outside!!!!

My past two weekends were a blast!!!

My really good friend from NDPA, Jenn, had a Mardi Gras party last week. I work with some really fun people. It was a ton of fun. I brought my favorite sister-in-law and Joe was there too. The teachers from Spain just love him. I don't think they know him very well :) Anyway, this is Kim, Begona, and myself. We were dancing! This guy........hmmmm......This is Cassidee's teacher. He is also from Spain. As you can see, I think he is great.

Then, I got to go snowboarding with my dear friend Kelly. She also works with me. We had so much fun and laughed the entire time. It's pretty hard for me to find a girl who can keep up with me so it was good times.

I also promised the girls that we'd go bowling if they woke up happy every day this week. I think mornings are the hardest part of the week. They wake up so grumpy and start fighting right away. It is enough to drive me bonkers!!! So...a little bribery....and wala!

Any ideas for this weeks' bribery????
