The Latest

Hey there! Just to let you know, I'm trying to view blogs but on my mom's slow computer, I'm having a hard time loading them all and making any comments. Please don't forget about me. I'm still here!

Just to let you know, we left our house last week and I'm super disappointed that nobody lives there yet. The pretty yard is dying! Anyway, I'm staying with my parents until we close on our new home. This will probably be in mid-August. I'm way excited because the house is nice and almost as big as our house here. It is in a great community with lots of families. We will just need to do some major remodeling in the bathrooms and make a few minor cosmetic changes. It'll be fun...here's to hoping ;)

Also, we are going to sell our little boat. It is smaller but perfect for little families looking for a fast and easy get-a-way. It has also been family owned from the beginning. If you know of anyone, let me know! Hugs and kisses!

What a weekend!

We really had fun this 4th of July. It is my most very favorite holiday. When I was little we used to go to Bear Lake every year. But since that place has exploded with people lately, we go there when it is a little quieter. So now, we just find stuff to do around here! We went to the drive ins with some friends of mine. Boy, was I ever grateful for this vehicle. We saw "Up" which I thought was phenomenal. I had no idea! We also saw "The Proposal". It was my second time, but still way funny. Cassidee and Kennedy were in the cheer clinics for Davis High. This meant they were in our fave parade.
Kennedy looked so bored on that truck but this is her when she saw us. Kim and I were laughing.

Daddy got to come home this weekend too. Sicily was sooooo happy to see him.

I made a delish cake. Then I made my family sing, "You're a Grand Ol' Flag". Thanks Kim for that awesome picture.....um, Facebook anyone?

Just an update

I have had a lot of people ask me questions. Maybe this will help...although, I'm not sure how many people read blogs anymore. People are always into Facebook way more.

So, we close on this house on July 16th. The movers will come and pack us the 14th and load on the 15th. We did find a house in California. However, after the sellers were very stingy and uncooperative, I told our agent never mind. So now, we're back to square one. Joe is out looking at houses today and I just have to trust his judgement....scary.

Anyway, we have to be out in close to two weeks. At first, I was thinking I'll go spend some time in San Fransisco with Joe. He has the cutest apartment right in the center of downtown. But then I remembered we have three very noisy sweethearts. Then I thought I will go stay with my mom for a bit. Ummmmm, yeah.

I'm going a wee bit crazy. I don't sleep at night because I'm constantly worrying about stuff. What do I do with the cat? I will miss my plants so much. What if the movers take something I need? Will we find the perfect house (or at this point in California...livable)?????How will I watch "So you think you can Dance"? etc etc!

Saturday's Adventure

My dad is the greatest ever. I love him so much. He won't let me disclose his age but he doesn't look it. He is amazing! He still runs, works, waterskiis, snowskiis, and takes his grandson to the park. I love him so much! I going to miss him terribly when we move. On Saturday, we went down to Thanksgiving Point to watch my cousin play in the bagpipe band. I was soo excited. But it was really rainy right when his band was supposed to play. It wasn't just rain, it was wind, lighting, and thunder. My sister and her five kids all had to pile into our car to stay dry.
Still cute.

Super cute.

Ahhhhh. Mi encanta mis ninas.

Random Stuff

So, this first picture may be a little inappropriate :) Anyway, the end of the year came and many of my teacher friends are off in different directions: Spain, Montana, Georgia, California :( I decided to have a party. It never fails...I start dancing...I just can't help myself. Even my students make fun of me because I'll be sitting in my chair and just be dancing. Sometimes, we do the "Stomp" and they make fun of me because I "shake my booty". Anyway, Joe looks like he is having the time of his life. This is Cassidee's teacher. She was Sacajawea in the school play. She had her lines down and did a fantastic job. My mom made the costume the night before. I adore this man.
Kennedy also had a program. Her's brought me to tears. She had one of the biggest speaking parts and a dancing part too. She was amazing. The first grade teachers also asked me to lead the students in the Pledge of Allegiance in sign language. It was a very moving experience for my last year there.

I got to go visit Joseph in San Francisco. He already has friends there. They're nice.

This is Joseph at work in his new office. He is happy there. I'm glad for him, sorta.
