Two words...Brooklyn Watts. The most brilliant nine-year-old I know. She kept this a secret for months! Finally, last week, she spilled the beans to her teacher who just happens to be a very close friend. I love the Watt family.

Easter and Such
I love my sweetie pies. I really do. I love teaching (and this probably sounds really bad) but it helps me appreciate the time I have with my girlies. I love them sooooooo much. I can't imagine my life without one of them. This is the lovely ladies on Easter Sunday. SO SWEET! The Saturday before Easter, I made them do a MS Walk. We each got to decorate a shirt. It started with "I walk because" and then you filled in the blank. This is what Joe came up with (with Kim's beautiful handwriting of course).....
Cassidee's says, "people are sick and this will help them. And I'm awesome." She's so clever!

Wednesday and Thursday
So, more adventures in spring break! We really had a blast! We had a "stay-cation" :) It was pretty rainy on these days so we met Chelsi at Arctic Circle to let the kids play on the playground. Of course, you can't pass up free cones...right Cassidee? Mmmmmmmmm. Anything sweet, and Kennedy is there!
I seriously fell in love with Sicily all over again. It was so fun to be with her.
We also went to "Monsters vs. Aliens" with Chelsi, Parker, and Payton. Hearing Parker laugh from across the row was so worth it!

Sicily had her first real cleaning with Dr. Wall. I was really stressed about her front tooth. It is discolored and it made me feel like a neglectant mother. He said it had nothing to do with her not brushing her teeth, but it looked like she had fell and bumped it. I felt a little better but hope it doesn't get any darker. She was such a good girl for Dr. Wall.

Dinosaur Park 2009
So, we are regulars at the Dinosaur Park up in Ogden. When Kennedy was little, she knew every dinosaur, what they ate, how big they were etc....We even had her 3rd bday party there. Because the weather was supposed to be nice, I decided to take the girls there with Sicily. She was so scared. She just stood there and wouldn't get any closer. I can't imagine why :)....

Sicily is awesome
I really wanted to start Sicily potty training this spring break. I was really optimistic when she wanted to put on panties and even sat on the potty with her cookie. It was great. Five minutes later when we were sitting down for lunch, she goes, "Hurry Mommy! Get a diaper!" and had an accident all over the kitchen. Now....not so optimistic. We'll see what happens. :) This story cracked me up...We were sitting downstairs and the girls were just finishing up their Wii excursion for the evening. Joseph was yelling at them because we have four controllers and they're supposed to use the controllers that can be recharged. They, of course, were using the controllers that needed regular AA batteries. All of the sudden, Sicily got a really determined look on her face and started talking about batteries. She went to one of our drawers and pulled out a screwdriver. We were trying to tell her that it was a screwdriver and not batteries. But then it dawned on me....we have so many toys that you have to use a screwdriver TO GET TO THE BATTERIES. What a clever little girl! Here she is trying to get to the batteries in the controller. I LOVE SICILY!
